It s the John David s second short detective story i have read and i think it s even better than the first one The character is well built and i actually imagined him sitting in his car and making those snarky comments My favorite charity is me Good thing i like money than i hate assholes.Detective Frank Giddy is no angel an ex NY cop in a small Florida town, making just enough money for drinks and take out food He sure knows how to appreciate pretty women with an old style a bit chauvinistic touch to his judgement But all that is a plus for the story and makes it that much believable.
